Important Notes
- Android settings may vary depending on device model and Android version.
- Use your Settings search bar and search “Usage access” if you cannot locate the permission.
- Some devices may delay the first insight refresh after enabling permissions.
- Certain battery optimisation systems may temporarily restrict background refresh activity.

Troubleshooting
No insights appearing
Confirm Usage Access is enabled, then reopen HabitSight and allow a short refresh period.
Cannot find Usage Access
Open Android Settings and search for “Usage access” or “Special app access”.
Insights not refreshing
Check battery optimisation settings and make sure HabitSight is not being restricted.
Permission enabled but still empty
Disable and re-enable Usage Access, then restart the app to refresh local insight generation.
