1. About HabitSight

HabitSight is a digital wellbeing and behavior insights application created and maintained by an independent developer under the Latenora brand. This Privacy Policy explains how HabitSight handles data when you use the app.

2. Privacy Philosophy

HabitSight is designed with an on-device processing architecture. The app does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, and does not send your app usage data to external servers.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

For users in the EU/EEA, HabitSight processes data only as needed to provide the app's core functionality and user-requested insights. Optional permissions are processed under user consent and can be revoked at any time in Android system settings.

4. Data Processed by HabitSight

HabitSight uses Android's Usage Access permission to process app usage duration, session timing, app/category-level summaries, and informational insight scores generated locally on your device.

5. Data HabitSight Does NOT Access

HabitSight does not access personal messages, photos, contacts, files, browsing history, app content, precise location, or sensitive personal content.

6. No Sensitive Personal Data

HabitSight does not process sensitive personal data such as health information, biometrics, political opinions, religious beliefs, or other special-category data defined under GDPR.

7. No Third-Party SDKs or Advertising

HabitSight does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or crash reporting services. No data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

HabitSight currently operates without advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, or third-party profiling technologies.

Latenora websites currently operate without advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or invasive behavioral profiling technologies.

If tracking, analytics, or advertising-related technologies are introduced in future website versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

9. No Account, No Cloud, No Server

HabitSight does not require account creation, login, online sync, or backend servers. All app data remains stored locally on your device.

10. Usage Access Permission

HabitSight requires Android Usage Access permission to calculate and display usage insights inside the app. This permission is used solely for in-app insight generation and is not used to monitor message content, browsing history, or private app content.

11. Automated Insights

HabitSight uses automated calculations to generate informational insights such as efficiency, focus, and risk-related scores. HabitSight does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users. These insights are for personal awareness only and are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

12. User Control & GDPR Rights

Users may disable insights or scoring features in the app settings where available. Usage Access permission may also be revoked at any time through Android system settings. EU/EEA users have the right to access, delete, restrict, or object to processing of their data. Since HabitSight stores all data locally, these rights can be exercised directly on the device using the in-app deletion tools.

13. Data Retention

HabitSight data is stored locally on your device until you delete it. No data is uploaded, transmitted, or externally backed up by HabitSight.

14. Data Deletion

You may delete HabitSight data using the in-app "Purge All Data" feature or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes app-stored data but does not delete Android system-level usage statistics managed by the operating system.

15. Children's Privacy

HabitSight is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app inappropriately, you may uninstall the app or remove its locally stored data.

16. Security

HabitSight relies on Android's standard sandboxing and local device security protections. Users are encouraged to secure their device with a screen lock.

17. International Data Transfers

HabitSight does not transfer app usage data outside your device or to external servers.

18. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect app improvements, legal requirements, or Play Store policy changes. The "Last updated" date will always reflect the latest version.

19.Support Communications

When you contact Latenora through support or privacy email addresses, we receive your email address and any information you voluntarily provide in your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not linked to your on-device HabitSight usage data.
